Atidje Aliyeva-Veli: About 200 million euros of aid for farmers will reach Bulgarian farmers to deal with the consequences of Covid-19

About 200 million euros of the 8 billion euros of aid for farmers voted by the European Parliament will reach farmers in Bulgaria in two years to deal with the consequences of Covid -19.

Separately, about 650 million euros will be directed to them under the Program for the Development of Rural Areas, MEP from DPS / "Renew Europe" Atidje Aliyeva - Veli, who is a member of the Commission for Agriculture and Development of Rural Areas, told Radio Kardzhali.

The Bulgarian MEP explained:

“In the next 7 years, each member state will decide for itself how to implement the measures and how to control the quality control. And here it is very important that we ourselves learn from our mistakes in the previous program periods and develop measures that will be easy for farmers as an application, as an application and at the same time will guarantee quality control at the necessary level, so that guarantee the financial interests of the EU.“

Atige Aliyeva-Veli specified that it depends on Bulgaria how these measures will be developed.
